At Robinson Veterinary Services we take pride in the cleanliness of our facility on a daily basis no matter what the situation. The mission to provide an exceptionally clean hospital for you and your pet has been in place since our opening in May of 2003. In light of the current situation with COVID-19 affecting the province, we are putting in place even more strict disinfection procedures in our front office where human traffic is highest. This will include disinfection of any surface several times an hour in which a person can touch such as door handles, payment terminals, desk surfaces as well as other objects which will be identified in appointment rooms and retail areas. Our beverage station will be closed until further notice.
We plan to continue to provide medical and surgical services for your pet until it becomes apparent that closing would be of benefit to minimize spread. Please continue to monitor this blog area of the website for further updates.
In saying this, we can be the cleanest facility in the county but if you are feeling ill in any way, we urge you to call and cancel your appointment. We will do our best to try and accommodate you as much as possible with a replacement appointment as quickly as possible. In these times it is everyone’s responsibility to minimize the risk of exposure and spread of the COVID-19 virus.
With many stores and venues slated to close this week, the current risk of infection in our area is very low but our management will continue to monitor the situation along with the province and local health unit. As the situation develops we will do our very best to keep you updated.
