Since the legalization of cannabis last year we have seen an increase in THC intoxication in pets. Although this may seem like a relaxing experience for some owners, pets do not experience the same effects. Cannabis can cause extreme disorientation along with other issues that may take a long period of time to wear off. The neurological effects of cannabis can vary in severity depending on amount and concentration ingested or inhaled; even a small amount can have a significant effect on your pet. With this, we recommend keeping cannabis out of reach of pets to avoid possible intoxication.
